Co-Founder & COO

Dr. Katie Nenneker, ‘Dr. Nenn’, attended California State University, Fresno where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science while excelling as an active member of the NCAA Equestrian team. Her educational journey took her to Ontario Veterinary College in Canada, where she graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Dr. Nenn provides care to all farm animals, with special interests in equine general health and dentistry, pot belly pigs, goats, llamas, alpacas and many more. A wonderful mother and fine role model to her two young daughters, she also enjoys trips to Lake Havasu and spending time with her family, animals and friends in her free time.

Greg

Founder & CEO

Greg has an impressive carrier in Emergency services. He has been a paramedic for nearly 30 years, working in multiple counties and departments in Southern California. In 2017, he became a member of the Los Angeles City Fire Department, where he works as a Firefighter Paramedic. He and his wife, Dr. Nenn, opened Nenn Equine in 2020, where he serves as the CEO. Greg enjoys competitive CrossFit, trips to Lake Havasu and spending time with his family.

Kim

Kim’s love for animals began at an early age and she has been active in the veterinary field for over 15 years. She has a small farm where she cares for horses, goats, chickens, rabbits, cats, fish and her dog. Kim has been with Nenn Equine since it’s inception, serving as the Head Technician where she abides by her motto, “I treat every animal as if it were my own.” In her free time, she enjoys riding her horse, participating in barrel race competitions and spending time with her son and family.

Michelle

Michelle has been working in veterinary medicine for over 10 years, acquiring significant experience in both small and large animal clinics. At Nenn Equine, she serves as a skilled Veterinary Assistant and Social Media Manager. Her hobbies include leather working, photography, horseback riding, home improvement projects and spending time with her husband and their two boys.

Jenn

Jenn has a vast range of personal experience with animals including 4-H (head-heart-hands-health), competing in dressage, 3-day eventing, and polo. She started her career working with animals at a large animal hospital and has since worked in emergency and general practice clinics and laboratory settings. Jenn and Dr. Nenn have had a working relationship spanning Dr. Nenn’s veterinary career and she serves as Nenn Equine’s Office Manager and as a Technician. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, family and two Australian cattle dogs.

Julie

Julie has an extensive background in Equine Medical Care and Management. She began her career at a large animal hospital, providing anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance and medical management of the patients. At Nenn Equine, Julie spearheads the rehabilitation team and operates the class-4 medical laser. Julie is also a horse trainer specializing in 3-day eventing and has successfully progressed multiple mustangs through her training program. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, CrossFit, renovating her property and spending time with her husband and dogs.

Shayna

Shayna has a passion for western riding and possesses a wide range of diverse skills relative to the sport. Her love for horses has transpired into a career of training, riding and trial ride management. She serves as a Veterinary Assistant at Nenn Equine. In her free time, Shayna loves spending time with her husband, family and friends and riding her horse’ ‘Bowie’.
